Core values

We believe that God is calling us to a sharp focus on the following six values.
These things will shape how we do ministry as a church.

EVANGELISM – People helping others find a relationship with Jesus
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.
He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to
repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9

DISCIPLESHIP – People growing in a relationship with Jesus
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in
your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” – 1 Peter 2:2-3

PRAYER – People communicating with Jesus
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish,
and it will be given you. – John 15:7

WORSHIP – People putting Jesus first
“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor
of his holiness.” – Psalms 29:2

COMMUNITY – People experiencing meaningful relationships with others
“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us
encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
– Hebrews 10:25

SERVICE – People helping each other
“… whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and
whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did
not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
– Mark 10:43-45
