Children's ministries
The children’s ministry has been an important part of the church since its beginning. Jesus set an example for us in welcoming and loving little children. We desire to do the same and invest in young lives both in our church and also in our community. Following are several aspects of the children’s ministry at New Hope:
Children’s Church:
During part of the Sunday evening gathering, the children have fun learning about Jesus through children’s church. They learn songs, memory verses and Bible stories. Children’s church is available for children ages 3-9.
Nursery:
A staffed nursery is available during a part of the Sunday evening gathering, allowing parents to remain in the gathering. The nursery, as well as a changing area, is available to parents’ throughout the gathering. In addition, a private area is designated for nursing mothers.
Kid’s Club:
A number of Kid’s Clubs meet once a week (on weekday afternoons). The clubs are for ages 3-12 and include activities such as a Bible lesson, songs, crafts and snack. The children often go on day field trips and experience other fun activities such as baking and cooking .
